One of our favorite community events is our yearly Memorial Day Sunday Pancake Breakfast. Its gives our members a chance to reach out to the community and have some good old fashioned fun. We often get pilots flying in from all over Michigan. After you’ve had a hardy breakfast, you’ll be able to walk around and see some of the most beautiful aircraft. We often have Experimental and home built aircraft. Warbirds too!! Its a fun, family event and we love hosting them!
Preserving our History
EAA 304 is not just about Experimental Aircraft. Its about fellowship and fostering a love of aviation. EAA 304 often partners with our friends at the Jackson County Airport (Reynolds Field) to bring in some very special aircraft. This fall we were able to partner with a group in Ohio that flies and maintains one of the few remaining Ford Tri-Motor aircraft. We’ve had everything visit from WWII P-51 Mustangs, to a Korean War Mig-17
Fun for all ages
One of the favorite things to do around Jackson on a Sunday morning is to have breakfast at the Airport Restaurant, (3608 Wildwood Ave, Jackson, MI 49202) and watch the different types of aircraft that fly-in for breakfast and a leisurely flight home. The restaurant has large windows where you can see these aircraft take off and land. There is also an observation deck just outside of the restaurant entrance for the whole family to enjoy. The food is yummy, and the view is amazing.
